An invitation from ALPHA…

Alpha Ireland is excited to be starting the new year with intention. We want to support Catholic parishes in building disciples in 2022. Join us as we embark on REFOCUS – a 6 month digital discipleship journey that helps set the foundation for mission in your parish.
Starting with Alpha on Tuesday 18th January at 7.45pm, leading into daily guided scriptural reflections throughout Lent, delving deeper into the Triduum, via an intentional post-Alpha discipleship programme, REFOCUS builds towards a renewed personal encounter with the Spirit of Christ at Pentecost.
The only goal of REFOCUS is to support Irish parishes in building a community of disciples. All you need to do is invite 5-6 members of your parish who you think would benefit from journeying intentionally with you over the next 6 months. We’ll do the rest!

New Irish language translation of Missal

The new English translation of the Roman Missal has, understandably, been getting much attention.

The new Irish language translation was also introduced on the same day. The printed version of Ord an Aifrinn arrived in the Veritas store in Dublin just two days before that. Perhaps those who took part in celebrations in Irish (from any part of the congregation!) would offer their reflections.
