Marie Keenan: A note of thanks to the ACP

A Note of Thanks for the Irish Association of Catholic Priests

I wish to acknowledge my enormous gratitude to the Irish Association of Catholic Priests for endorsing my recent campaign for election to Seanad Eireann. Unfortunately, I was not elected to this office, but it was an incredibly interesting run, and I met wonderful people and engaged with a range of important issues. My commitment is to continue to work for a more compassionate society and bring my extensive clinical and research experience to advocate for reform of the criminal justice system, balanced compassionate discussion on how we respond to institutional abuses and for restorative justice for all types of crime and harms across the country. My aim is to influence public and social policy, grounded in the values of justice, equality, compassion and respect. Thank you again for all your support.
