Synodal Pathway: Two Additional Courses Added for the Facilitative Leadership Training Programme

A note from Julieann Moran, General Secretary for the Synodal Pathway.

Dear Representatives,

You are receiving this email as you, or someone on behalf of your movement, association, organisation or group, has engaged with this office during the different stages of the Universal Synod and/or has taken part in the Irish Synodal Pathway’s Facilitative Leadership Training Programme between February and May this year.

I am aware that some members of your movement, association, organisation or group missed out on our last round of Facilitative Leadership Training. So I am delighted to announce that two additional sets of dates have been added with 36 places available on each course. The pre-registration form is live on our website here:

Please do share this information with those who were particularly interested in taking part but missed out on a place.

The dates are:

·       Friday, 4 and Saturday, 5 October (Knock House Hotel)

·       Friday, 18 and Saturday, 19 October (Knock House Hotel)

The start time for each course is 12 noon on day one and the finish time is 4pm on day two. Each person that registers for the training programme only needs to select one of the courses. Please remember that you can also register as a candidate from your diocese.

If you or someone on your behalf is registering a group of people, please ensure that a registration form is completed for each person, giving all the required details – their name, email address, phone number, dietary requirements, or other assistance needed.

The attached link takes the user to a private page on the Synodal Pathway website, where they will see the two new dates:

They will also see information that lets them know that this programme has three distinct parts:

1.       An online session in advance of their training dates to understand the ethos of the programme and to meet other participants.

2.       A two-day residential programme.

3.       Online quarterly follow-ups to enable participants to consolidate learning and engage in reflective practice.

If you or someone on your behalf requires any assistance before registration, please do not hesitate to come back to me at

info@synod.ie

I will be sharing the news of the two new course dates with a wider audience in the coming days.

Kindest regards,

Julieann
