New film: “I panni stesi nella fede quotidiana” (“Clothes Hanging Out to Dry in Daily Faith”)

“I panni stesi nella fede quotidiana” (“Clothes Hanging Out to Dry in Daily Faith”) is a new documentary by Italian director Alberto Valletta. The film, which explores the intersection of queerness and Catholicis will be shown in Italian with English subtitles on December 12 at 6:00 p.m. CET (12:00 p.m. EST) during a free online screening organized by the Global Network of Rainbow Catholics and La Tenda di Gionata (Jonathan’s Tent).

The twenty-two-minute film reflects on faith lived out in daily life. It highlights how people of faith, especially LGBT+ believers, find room to breathe spiritually in the ordinary spaces of their communities.

“Chiesa casa per tutti” (“Church Home for Everyone”) is available online as a documentary chronicling the historic September 2025 Jubilee pilgrimage to the Vatican, organized by La Tenda di Gionata for LGBTQ+ Christians, their families, and pastoral workers. This 12-minute-50-second film captures the key events of September 5-6, emphasizing themes of welcome, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and the need for a Catholic Church as a home for all.
