MESSAGE TO ACP MEMBERS
Just a reminder that our AGM is on October 1st in Hodson Bay Hotel from
2.00 -5.00pm.The theme is : The Vocations Crisis: will clustering work?
We believe that this issue is of compelling interest to the Catholic Church
in Ireland and of particular interest to an ageing and diminishing Irish
priesthood. It is imperative that, rather than wringing our hands in
frustration, that realistic and workable proposals around priesthood be
discussed with a view to sustaining our parish faith-communities.
As a preparation for our discussion, we commend to our members two articles
from the September Furrow, On the Edge  by Donagh O’Meara and The Last Priests in Ireland by Donald Cozzens, which map out the context for our discussion. We
would encourage as many of our members as possible to attend the AGM.

An International Network of Church Reform Movements conference will take place next week, from Monday 13th April to Thursday 16th April, in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Limerick.
This four day event is not open to the public but there will be an open session at 8.00pm on Thursday, 16th April in the Radisson Blu in Limerick. Some of the international participants will speak of their experience of Church Reform in their parts of the world, and how we can move forward. Members of the public are welcome to this event.
