David Hickey: GAA must cut ties with sponsor Allianz over its investments in Israeli bonds

INTO and Association of Catholic Priests have called for their own organisations to end associations with insurance group – the sporting body must follow suit

Last week in the Irish Independent, Geoff Sparling, Allianz Ireland’s chief customer officer, wrote a column denying that the insurance company bore any responsibility for Israel’s conduct in Gaza.
