Dedicated Irish Synodal Pathway website: synod.ie

Welcome to the Irish Synodal Pathway

On 10 March 2021, the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference announced a new Synodal Pathway for the Catholic Church in Ireland leading to the holding of a National Synodal Assembly or Assemblies within the next five years. This process will focus on the question:

What does God want from the Church in Ireland at this time?

I think the Irish synod should emphasize on a deeper knowledge of the cathechism and study of the bible, while at the same time, we should embrace the rich traditions of old Catholic Ireland, such as Mass Rocks and pilgrimages. Also freedom to have more Latin Masses and Masses in different rites. One more point, a more reverent and respectful display of the Novus Ordo Mass with … more Gregorian chant. Thank you
