Julieann Moran: Synodal Pathway Update

Dear friends and colleagues,
I have had several requests for summarised versions of the Synthesis Report that was published at the end of October following the month-long 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod so I include two written and one video summary for you today.

The Synthesis Report “is not a final document, but an instrument at the service of discernment that will still need to continue.”

by Rafael Luciani (a lay theologian) and Agenor Brighenti (a Brazilian priest)

A “Rome Reports” video takes a brief look at how the participants in the assembly reflected on bringing synodality to life in various levels of the Church and looks at some of the main proposals of the report.
