Julieann Moran: Synodal Pathway Update…

Knock:

We had a splendid turnout for our second round of training on Friday and Saturday at Knock Shrine. Once again, we were blessed with a great mix of representatives from the People of God with 18 men and 18 women. Over the two days, we had time for prayer (both prepared and spontaneous), group work, reflective work and journaling, conversations in the Spirit, as well as sessions on the theology of synodality, listening skills, discernment skills, self care, and more! Our candidates included lay men, lay women, priests, deacons, religious sisters, some young people from youth movements, and an Irish missionary who’ll be heading back overseas in the coming weeks. The remainder of our programme with these candidates, and those from our Mallow course, will continues online over the coming months.
