Julieann Moran: Synodal Pathway Update – Reminder to Pre-register for the Online Meeting on 29 April at 7pm

Dear Representatives,

Thank you to all those who made a submission in response to the next stage of the Universal Synod.

The writing group from the Irish Synodal Pathway spent time over Holy Week and early Easter reflecting on all the submissions received and gathered at the National Shrine to Our Lady in Knock last Thursday and Friday to prepare the emerging themes.

If you would like to be part of this ongoing process you can pre-register for the online meeting, which is taking place on Monday, 29 April from 7pm until 9pm.

The pre-registration link is here:

https://forms.gle/BwduPE4GtZKaTSJR9

Please do share the link with other members of your movement, association or group that may have an interest in participating. Those that led your consultation and/or those who were part of your own writing team may be the most relevant for attending the gathering.

Once we have taken feedback from everyone at the diocesan regional meetings and this online meeting, the writing group will then begin the task of preparing another draft of the document for submission to the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference, where bishops will get a further opportunity to discern its content.

Kindest regards,

Julieann
