No doubt more detailed guidance for each section will be forthcoming in the days ahead but a very quick look suggests the following with regard to church:

Funerals

In phase 2, on 08 June, slightly larger numbers may be permitted at Funeral Masses, where social distancing can be maintained, but still confined to immediate family or close friends. At present a maximum of ten people may attend a Funeral Mass.

Re-opening of Church Buildings

In phase 4, on 20 July, religious and places of worship, where social distancing can be maintained, may be re-opened.

Weddings and Baptisms

In phase 4, on 20 July, small social gatherings by family and close friends limited to a maximum number of attendees for a limited period of time where social distancing can be maintained (e.g. small weddings, baptisms) may be permitted.
