St Colmcille – bank holiday being sought to honour Ireland’s (other) national saint

Very informative interview on St Colmcille on RTÉ Radio 1 today with Dermot Whelan on the Oliver Callan Show – On the feast of Saint Colmcille we find out from Christy Gillespie who this Patron Saint of Ireland really was and ask if there should be a bank holiday in his honour.
