Julieann Moran was appointed General Secretary of the Synodal Pathway in Ireland in August 2022. Her role is to promote synodality in the Irish Catholic Church, coordinating the work of the national Synodal Pathway and supporting Ireland’s contribution to the Synod on Synodality. The post includes responsibility for consultation, planning, communications and administration. At the European continental meeting in Prague she and Fr Eamonn Fitzgibbon delivered an accurate summary of the range of issues which arose from the synodal process across Ireland.
