Joe O’Leary: Japan Mission Journal

Dear Friends,

The Prophets rouse us to intense expectation; Mary, on behalf of Israel and of all humanity, magnifies the Lord, as she awaits the joyful birth; and ‘hope does not disappoint us’ (Rom 5:5). Let’s begin all over again, learning wisdom from our mistakes, in 2025, a Jubilee Year and the 17th centenary of Nicaea (https://www.mdpi.com/2077-1444/15/9/1102).

Taking cues from Pope Francis, the Japan Mission Journal welcomes essays on dialogue with the Religions and with Literature. Our ongoing series on “Champions of Faith” invites you to present the spiritual beacon you most admire.
