Brendan Hoban on Galway Bay fm speaking about Tony Flannery

Brendan Hoban was a guest on the Galway Talks with Keith Finnegan programme on Galway Bay fm from 9.00am-12 noon this morning. This was in response to the ACP/LCG press release (released yesterday) calling for Fr Tony Flannery to be restored to ministry.

The interview is in the opening segment of the programme.

Thanks Brendan and Keith for this powerful, interesting and challenging dialogue on local radio about the unfair way Tony Flannery has been treated. Like many others I join in asking and hoping and praying that Tony will very soon be restored to continue his full active ministry.

  2. Joe O'Leary says:

How can the Redemptorists and the bishops avoid the shame and the moral stain that the Marists incurred with Seán Fagan, buried deep in Pope Francis’s reign, with no bishop at his funeral?

To rectify an injustice, to undo an abuse, to speak the truth are the best services one can do to a dysfunctional church. I hope even at this late stage that the authorities will hear the voice of common sense.

    The delators must be Irish.
