The procedures of the CDF have not changed substantially since the days of the Inquisition - only the penalties have been moderated by more moderate communal attitudes
As a Catholic lay person, I take my hat off and have great praise for Fr Brendan Hoban, Fr Tony Flannery, and all of the members of the Association of Catholic Priests in Ireland for having the courag
