It would have been more hopeful if anyone had mentioned the possibility of ordaining married men, brought up the notion that women could be priests and acknowledged that celibacy does not always work.

The fact that the Catholic Herald gives space and oxygen to views of this nature is, in my opinion, a problem not for the ACP but for the Catholic Herald.
