Tim Hazelwood…a word of advice re electricity and gas contracts

A note for all parishes to be fully aware of the current volatility regarding the energy market and to be mindful of knowing when their current electricity and gas contracts are due to expire. 

From experiences recently, a third-party broker with a Diocese’s email address forwarded an email to me offering a long-term renewal contract despite my current contract not due to expire until April 2027 and I having revoked my permission for them to act on my behalf.

I just wanted everyone to be mindful of this to ensure you are sourcing the best rates at the most suitable time and to seek advice before agreeing to a long term contract.
