Trinity Sunday – Bidding prayers

Introduction (by the Presider): We bring our prayers to our creator, who honours humanity with love and respect.

  1. For missionaries, that they may never give up (pause for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
  2. For nations at war, that they may learn peace (pause for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
  3. For the people affected by Natural diasters (pause for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
  4. For young people preparing for exams (pause for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
  5. For those who are sick, in hospital or in nursing homes (pause for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
  6. For an improvment in the weather (pause for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.

The presider prays for the dead, those who died during the week and those whose anniversaries occur, ‘that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit may welcome them to life without end ’ (pause for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.

Conclusion (by the Presider): Lord our God, creator of all that is, redeemer of the world, sanctifier of your people, listen to our prayers, and give us the grace we need, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
