Key Message:
Join Jesus, Join in His Joy!!
Homily:
Testimony:
Child: “Mamma, why is Jesus hanging on the cross?”
Mamma: “To clean all our sins from our souls.”
Child: “Then why did he rise again from His tomb?”
Mamma: “To open the door of Heaven for us!!”
Child: “Mamma, will Jesus open the door of Heaven for me too?”
Mamma: “Do you know about the two persons who were hanging on either side of Jesus?”
Child: “No, Mamma.”
Mamma: “Both were thieves. One of the thieves did not repent for his sins. He was also making fun of Jesus. On the other hand, the other thief believed in Jesus, repented for his sins and asked Jesus to forgive his sins. Immediately Jesus promised a place in Heaven for the repented thief alone. So, when you repent and ask Jesus to forgive your sins, Jesus will immediately forgive your sins and open the door to Heaven just for you.”
Yes, tonight is the night when our Beloved Lord Jesus opened the door to Heaven for us.
Do you wonder, “What about my life on earth?” “Who understands me?” or “Who will help me?”
He has cleaned your soul through His death and today the risen Christ is seeing you!!
Just like He called Mary Magdalene by name…
Tonight, He is calling your name.
Our Risen Lord knows your tears and silent prayers.
And He is saying:
“Do not fear. I am alive. I am with you.”
Are you wondering, “All the graces of our risen Lord goes to someone else. Will beautiful miracles happen for me too?”
Before raising Lazarus, our Lord Jesus told Martha, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
So we need to believe to receive our miracles.
Let us not speak defeat but speak life.
Instead of saying, “Nothing will change”, say “My Jesus is alive, and He is working in my life!”
When you align your thoughts and words with His promises…
Miracles begin to happen in your life!!
Judas and the good thief both believed that Jesus was the Son of the living God. But the good thief repented for his sins. While Judas did not. So both belief in Jesus and repentance for our sins are the keys of the Heavenly kingdom!!
Our loving Jesus promises both the joy of Heaven and Earth in this Easter Season.
Let us celebrate our Risen Jesus and the joys of Easter!!
