Hi,
For the first time i have opened this page.
I found this your thoughts are very well organised and presented. I could easily follow. it is very useful for my presentation too.
Thanks a lot.
Please continue your service.
I note that while Mark in his Gospel mentions Jesus eating with his disciples, the Preface for the feast in the Roman Missal doesn’t mention the diciples, only”the Apostles” (with a capital A). I suppose in case some people might think there were women disciples present….perish the thought! You can never be too exclusive!….That’s the trouble with poor Jesus,he didn’t know how to exclude those undesirables from table fellowship…and see what happened to him.
There is a very simple solution to the misogyny in the Catholic Church. Women who do not agree with the misogynistic teaching in the Church could take a sabbatical, for a year, and maybe priests who agree with them could too. A bit like going on strike for human rights. Before I left the Church I was minister of the Word, minister of the Eucharist, minister of the Mop and Bucket, and minister of what went in to the weekly envelope!

It’s nice to know they are being read in faraway places.
